Targeted Domain Names - Getting that Killer Domain Name

Your domain name plays a very important role in your online business. Imagine it would be your online identity! So you should choose the best one since it would represent you in the Internet. This name will be known from around the world.
So here are some tips in choosing that killer domain name.
1. Short is better. Mostly, you can sign up for a domain name for up to 63 characters long. But you need to remember that people need to easily familiarize with your domain name. And what could be the best way to help them remember it, keep it short. This name will easily be registered on their mind. If you could, keep it 7 characters short.
2. You should also decide on what comes after the dot. Right now it is common to use .com on the domain name. You might want to stick with that since people usually search the Internet using that extension.
3. And if you want to have more visitors to your site, it is also advisable to register more than one domain name. Do not think that you need to do more sites then. Have all these domain names point to your site. You can register a domain name that ends with .com and .net. In that way, no matter how people search the Internet, they would still be landing you on your page.
4. Ask for any feedback from friends or other people. What you think could be reasonable may not be the same for others.
