Even if you decide to use Site Builders, WEB templates or automated Blog posting, you have to learn how to control and adjust your ads, links or affiliate codes. What is HTML? HTML is a text file containing markup tags that tell the Web browser how to display the WEB page. At first site it might look complicated but actually it is very simple. Start Notepad (or SimpleTex on a Mac). Copy and paste the following text in Notepad. Than remove the star (*). (Yes, HTML can be edited in simple text editors.) This is the simplest HTML Page! Save the file as mypage.html or page.html (or any other file name with .htm or .html extension). Now open the file with any WEB Browser. What do you see? As the number of the elements included in the document grows the HTML code looks more and more complicated. You can easily edit HTML files using a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor like FrontPage or Dreamweaver, instead of writing your markup tags in a plain text file.
