What Is A 404 Page?

A 404 page is an error page that displays when someone tries to access a page on your Web site that doesn't exist.

Our hosting accounts allow you to use your home page as your 404 page or you can create a custom error page. For information on how to set up a custom 404 page, see Setting up a Custom 404 Page.
