Installing FrontPage Extensions

Installing FrontPage Server Extensions on your hosting account will enable you to publish your Web site using Microsoft FrontPage. FrontPage Server Extensions also allow you to implement other FrontPage specific components like forms, counters, and discussion boards.

You can install FrontPage Extensions when you set up your hosting account. If you don't install FrontPage extensions at that time, you can install them later using the Hosting Manager.

To Install FrontPage Extensions on Your Existing Hosting Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Under the Hosting & Email section, select Hosting Account List.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Open.
  4. Under the Settings section of the Hosting Manager, click the Front Page Extensions icon.
  5. To add FrontPage Extensions to your account, click Install FrontPage Extensions.
  6. Enter a FrontPage Email Address and click Continue.
  7. Review and verify your FrontPage Extensions settings. Remember, if you install FrontPage Extensions, you must use Microsoft FrontPage to create, edit, and update your Web site.
  8. If everything looks OK, click Submit.
