This simply means that the Javascript remains non functional until activated by a web browser such as IE, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape,Safari …etc Javascript is a type of programming that adds interactivity and functionality to web pages. Examples include drop down menus, navigation buttons, page effects, forms, slide shows, and popup windows. The statements in the javascript language can be made part of an HTML source file to enable some interactive features such as mouse clicks and input to forms. Javascript is a very popular scripting language because it is relatively easy to learn.
