Recovering The Root Password In Simple Control Panel

If you don't remember the root password for your server, you can create a new one using Simple Control Panel.

To Recover the Root Password

  1. First log on to Simple Control Panel as the administrator.
  2. Click Simple Control Panel Users.
  3. Click the Change Password icon next to root.
  4. In the New password and New password (again) fields, type the new password.
