Activating Your Hosting Account

Thank you for your hosting purchase. After you purchase a hosting plan, you need to log in to your hosting account manager and activate your account.

To Activate Your Hosting Account

  1. Log in to your hosting account manager.
  2. From the menu at the top, select Hosting & Email > Web Hosting & Databases.
  3. Click "Setup Account" next to the account you want to activate.
  4. Enter a username and password for your hosting account.

    NOTE. This user name and password will be used later on when you upload your files to the Internet.

  5. Confirm your password by retyping it in the "Confirm Password" field.
  6. Select the domain name you want to host.

    NOTE. If your domain name is not registered with GoDaddy.com, it will not appear on the drop down list.

  7. Select "Yes" or "No" to include FrontPage extensions.
  8. Click "Save Settings."

Now that you have activated your hosting account, you can upload files to your Web site. For more information about uploading your files.
