Upgrading To Fedora Core 6Virtual Dedicated and Dedicated Server CustomersVirtual Dedicated Server Customers using Red Hat 9, Fedora Core 2 or 4 and Dedicated Server Customers using Fedora Core 2 or 4 may upgrade to Fedora Core 6. To upgrade to Fedora Core 6:
NOTE: Once the transaction is complete you will receive a follow-up email with further instructions on reprovisioning your server. You must reprovision your server to upgrade your operating system. NOTE: Fedora Core 6 is not compatible with servers using a Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz processor. If you have a Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz processor and want to upgrade your operating system to Fedora Core 6, you must first downgrade your processor to a Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz processor via the My Products section of the Account Manager. NOTE: FrontPage Extensions are not available or supported in Fedora Core 6. WARNING: Upgrading to a new operating system requires that your server be reprovisioned and the operating system reloaded. Reprovisioning erases all of the content on the server hard drive. All of your data will be lost. We strongly recommend that you back up your data before initiating the operating system upgrade. Assisted Service Plan CustomersIn order to upgrade your Assisted Service Plan server to Fedora Core 6 your server will have to be reprovisioned. You have two options you can choose from to have your server upgraded.
